Extrusion technology provides a variety of possibilities for joining aluminium profiles. The aim of this chapter is to give you inspiration by showing examples of the most widely used joints.

Mechanical joints are often easy to make. Some can even be completed by the end user. Another advantage over welded joints is that surface finishing of profiles can be carried out on long lengths, thus reducing costs.

In cases where profiles need to be cut to different lengths, you eliminate the need to stock a range of variants, because the profiles can be manufactured and joined to suit requirements.
